Team -- Yesterday, Erica and I took the kids on a family trip to the polls to cast our ballots here in Upstate New York.
It was so great to feel the enthusiasm on the ground and to see so many members of this community coming out to make their mark on our democracy. Across the country, Americans are turning out in record numbers, and right here in Upstate New York, we have our own work to do to make every vote count in the next 7 days.
However, we are still $28,742 short of reaching our end-of-month fundraising goal before our deadline, and we need these critical dollars to fund our voter outreach operation. Can I count on you to chip in to our race immediately to help us close the gap?

I’ll be honest: The $28,742 fundraising gap we’re staring down poses a significant threat to our ability to win in just seven days.
History has proven that in a race this close, failing to turn out even a single supporter could cost us the election. After all, we only flipped NY-22 blue in 2018 by a margin of just 8 votes per precinct.
We’ve already made a big round of cuts to our voter outreach programs, and my staff is already putting together a list of what’s next to go if we can’t raise $28,742 before October ends.
