The Trump administration has been blatantly ignoring, and contributing to, man-made climate change for the last four years. A recent NYT report revealed the extent of the damage: 71 environmental rules have already been reversed, with 27 rollbacks still in progress. The policies were meant to regulate clean air, water, wildlife, toxic chemicals, and more.
“All told, the Trump administration’s environmental rollbacks could significantly increase greenhouse gas emissions over the next decade and lead to thousands of extra deaths from poor air quality each year,” the Times reports.
Trump has made it clear that he doesn’t believe in science as it relates to the pandemic or as it relates to the planet -- and in both cases, human lives are at stake.
