Hello Friend,

?

Last night,?after?denying the will of the American people and?ignoring our?pleas for COVID relief, the Senate strongarmed?the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court of the U.S.

But even as we?condemn?the?confirmation?of?a Supreme Court justice who will serve their insidious ends, we?must also remember that judicial power, like every branch of government, needs checks and balances.?We?are that check and balance.?

?

?

As we speak, young people?across the country?are?rising up. In the U.S., there are?more than?83 million?people?between the ages of 18 and 35.?Fourty-four?percent?of us?are people of color and?20 percent?of us?identify?as LGBTQIA+.?Our numbers?grow?larger?every?day, as?does?our political power.?

We will use every bit of that power to build a real democracy that?nurtures?healthy,?happy?communities?and?people.?No matter how?SCOTUS?leans, we?will do?whatever it takes to reshape the systems that have never served us so that?everyone?can thrive.?
