Dear John,
This Thursday: Join Emgage NY Metro for a Fireside Chat with Jamaal Bowman!

While this presidential race is coming to a close, we are focusing intensely on our get out the vote (GOTV) campaign while also keeping an eye on 2021. That's why we are excited to welcome the newest member of The Squad, Jamaal Bowman, for a fireside chat to hear how he plans to push for a progressive agenda in 2021 and beyond. Jamaal Bowman recently won his Democratic Primary in New York, and is projected to be the next Congressman from New York's 16th Congressional District.

Register now!

Jamaal Bowman is an educator, husband, father of three, and a champion for children and working families. Jamaal has fought for teachers, students, and families for twenty years. As a leader in the opt-out movement against standardized testing in New York, Jamaal connected parents from diverse backgrounds to the fight for a more fair educational system. He recently earned his doctorate in education focusing on the benefit of the community school model, which is an alternative to charter schools and a roadmap for fixing New York's public school system.

Jamaal is fighting for an America that belongs to all of us - not the wealthy few. He is committed to combatting Islamophobia, anti-Semitism, and xenophobia. Furthermore, he supports the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, and will work towards creating a more fair and equitable justice system. Jamaal Bowman is progressive on foreign policy, and believes that every child deserves access to a top-notch education. He is the kind of leader that has a vision and a plan, and that is why we are here to support him.

Join us on Thursday, October 29th at 5:30pm EST.
