Not even 24 hours ago, Senate Republicans confirmed Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court, where she could serve a lifetime appointment. Judge Barrett’s record is deeply troubling -- she could vote to overturn Roe v. Wade and the Affordable Care Act, upending reproductive freedom and health protections from millions of Americans (during a pandemic!).

Brian said it best: we are pissed off.

We simply refuse to stand by as Trump, McConnell and their GOP cronies take a bulldozer to the people’s court. Filling the bench with far-right judges like Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Kavanaugh is a death wish to democracy -- and we will not let them succeed. 

We must add more seats to the Supreme Court.

Expanding the Court is easy -- Congress can change the size of it at any time. In fact, they’ve done it seven times in American history! Right now, Congress members need a little reminder that the power to protect our democracy lies in their hands.
