** Down to the wire! CND election special
------------------------------------------------------------
Saturday 31 October, 2pm-3pm (UK time)

With a week to go to the US Presidential election, it is increasingly clear that the result will have huge global repercussions. Donald Trump's presidency has ushered in a new era of militarism, a collapsing international order and an increasing risk of nuclear confrontation and war. For the past four years, CND has campaigned against his policies and played a crucial part in the Together against Trump coalition.

So what will the election result mean for the next four years? Join CND's 'Down to the Wire' election special ([link removed]) to discuss its impact on issues such as the US nuclear weapons arsenal, international agreements and conflict.

We'll be joined by fantastic guest speakers Phyllis Bennis, Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies in Washington; Vincent Intondi, author of ‘African Americans Against the Bomb’; and Margaret Kimberley, from the Black Alliance for Peace.
