Friend,

Our final fundraising deadline of this election is coming up this weekend.

I'm going to humbly ask that you chip in $5 or whatever you can ahead of that deadline -- because it matters.

Here's why:

In October 2016, Hillary Clinton led Donald Trump by 14 points in the polls. Everyone thought it was wrapped up, over, done -- we know now how wrong we all were.

My opponent is just like Donald Trump: unpredictable, extreme, offensive. We cannot let polls, assumptions, beliefs, or anything like that lead us right now because we can never ever be sure of an election result until every vote is counted.

2016 taught us an important lesson: We run out the clock, and we fight for every vote assuming we're down 14 points. We don't take anything for granted, and we continue to fight for every single vote. That's what we're going to do this week because we shouldn't assume this race is safe.

We set a FINAL fundraising goal of $75,000 by midnight on Halloween -- we won't be spooked out of it by anything. Donate $5 or more right now to fight for every last vote alongside me.

Very truly yours,

Jay
