Texas Attorney of the Year!?

Texas Public Policy Foundation’s own Rob Henneke is one of three finalists for Texas Lawyer magazine’s Attorney of the Year. 

In case you're new here, Rob leads TPPF’s Center for the American Future and serves as TPPF's General Counsel. He basically eats, sleeps, and breathes liberty. 

Rob’s efforts at every level, from district court on up to the U.S. Supreme Court, on issues ranging from local ordinances to the Affordable Care Act, are focused on winning more freedom for every Texan—and every American.

U.S./Mexico Border Visit

TPPF’s States Trust team recently visited the U.S./Mexico border to glean a more holistic understanding of the practical impacts of current U.S. immigration policy. 🇺🇸

Ken Oliver, TPPF’s senior director of Right on Immigration, emphasized “our itinerary in Laredo was most helpful for what we are doing in Washington through States Trust and the Right on Immigration Initiative. It gave all the members of our team fresh situational awareness and input from key stakeholders in the region, as we address the challenge of border security and related issues.”

America's Homeless Crisis

Former California state assemblyman and TPPF Vice President Chuck DeVore joined Fox And Friends First to talk about the homeless crisis in Austin, Texas — and America generally. 

Chuck pointed out two very important components of the problem: government policies standing in the way of affordable housing construction, and mental illness and drug addiction.
