Here we are: just one week away from Election Day. That means we only have seven days left to Get Out the Vote across Washington’s 3rd district, reach undecided voters, and do what it takes to give Southwest Washingtonians a real voice for the people in Congress.

It’s been a long journey to get here, but through your contributions and volunteer efforts, we’re now closer than ever before to winning this highly contested race, with polls showing me just two points behind — in a statistical tie — with Jaime Herrera Beutler. That’s amazing! But we’re not over the finish line just yet.

Though we outraised my incumbent opponent on multiple occasions, she’s got back-up from national GOP groups and corporate PACs that are pouring more than $1 million into ads attacking me in these final days leading up to the end of this election.

Time is running out in this race, John, and frankly so is our cash-on-hand. Since I don’t take any money from corporate PACs, I’m genuinely counting on grassroots donations from people like you to keep our ads on the air and get our message across the 3rd district up to the moment polls close on Tuesday.
