During last night’s sham confirmation vote, my good friends Gary Peters and Doug Jones voted “no” on the confirmation of Justice Barrett – and are already under attack for doing so.
Mitch McConnell’s Super PACs and other dark-money groups are preparing to spend MILLIONS of dollars in the last week of this election trying to tear them down.
We can’t afford either of them to lose.
Gary represents Michigan, a state Trump won by the slimmest of margins four years ago. He’s faced months of relentless attacks from far-right groups for his progressive beliefs, and this oncoming onslaught could be dangerous for his campaign – polls in recent weeks have shown his race against a Trump acolyte tightening significantly.
And we all know Doug Jones, who shocked Alabama and the nation with his upset victory in 2017. It’s no understatement that he’s in a tough fight. He won three years ago and, with your support, he can win next week.
If they lose their fights for re-election, our path to retaking the Senate majority from Mitch McConnell becomes significantly harder.
Gary and Doug are both fighters, and with our help I know they can beat Mitch McConnell’s dark-money machine. Can I count on you to split $15 or $30 between our campaigns and help protect some of the Senate’s most vulnerable Democrats?
