Dear Fellow Republicans,
We have one week left to make sure every Republican ballot possible is cast for President Donald J Trump and the conservative candidates running to represent Riverside County.
If you haven't voted yet, the time to make decisions and cast your ballot is now.
If you have voted, it's time to make sure your Republican friends, neighbors, and family have also cast their ballots. I can't emphasize this enough: after the Republican Party of Riverside County held the line in 2018, the Democrats put our county in their crosshairs for 2020. They are using every unethical tactic they can get away with to defeat us.
This isn't only about the Presidency, either. In addition to voting to re-elect President Donald J Trump and Vice President Mike Pence, the RPRC has endorsed and is supporting TWELVE candidates for statewide office and SIXTY FOUR candidates for local office. It's the home stretch. Years of hard work are coming down to how many people turn out to vote within the next seven days. While donations ([link removed]) are always helpful, it's time for GOTV (Get Out The Vote). And to emphasize the importance of voter turnout, here are a few statistics from the last couple election cycles:
* Riverside County had a population of 1.02 million registered voters in 2016.
* In 2016: One in four registered voters in Riverside County didn't show up.
* In 2016: 333,243 people voted for President Donald J Trump.
* In 2016: Clinton carried Riverside County by a meager 3.97% of the registered voter population (40,452 votes).
* Riverside County had a population of 1.04 million registered voters in 2018.
* In 2018: Only 62% of registered voters showed up to vote.
* In 2018: 57,710 people voted for Bill Essayli to unseat Sabrina Cervantes in the 60th Assembly District
* In 2018: Cervantes only won by 10,240 votes (only 4.4% of the 230,257 registered voters in that district)
The point is election outcomes in Riverside County are razor-thin. RPRC leadership and our allies have been working for years to maximize Republican voter registration. Now we need all hands on deck to make sure we all vote. Whether you are a Central Committee member (especially if you are a Central Committee member), or if you simply care about your country, state and county, we need you to spread the word and ensure every Republican who can vote votes. If we show up, we win.
The finish line is in sight. This is the final sprint. Thank you for all your hard work. I can't fully express my appreciation.
