I was first elected to Congress in 2008. Barack Obama was entering his first term as president with majorities in the House and the Senate. I’m proud to have been in the House when we passed the Affordable Care Act, but the last ten years I have had to watch my Republican colleagues vote over 50 times to repeal it without ever presenting a plan in its place.

Right now, in the middle of a global pandemic, the Trump administration is trying to take away your health care. And they have no idea what to do next.
 
In just seven days, we have the opportunity to take back both the Senate and the White House. But we need to win in Maine to do it. That’s why I am asking you to support the Maine Democratic Party.
