Like any other workplace, being able to work collaboratively and having the trust of your colleagues is vital to making progress and delivering real results.
As my colleagues and Councilors Belinda Ray and Jill Duson wrote in today’s Press Herald ([link removed]) , “Spencer has the temperament necessary for effective leadership. He is collegial, thoughtful and dedicated. We know this because each of us has worked alongside Spencer. We know his style, his approach, his work ethic and his commitment to Portland. And after working with him, we know he is up to the task.”
We can’t afford four more years of divisive politics.
That’s why I’m so grateful to have the support of my colleagues on the City Council, as well as a growing list of community leaders.
