Here at Kate Bolz for Congress, we’re getting into the Halloween spirit!

To keep up morale on the campaign trail, we like to tell stories about ghosts and monsters. And the scariest of all is the Tale of the Invisible Congressman:

It was a dark and stormy night in east Nebraska. A group of constituents noticed strange things happening: drug prices rose up into the sky and the ACA shrunk to the size of a pea. They went to Jeff Fortenberry for help, but when they walked into his office, they learned that he was gone – he had been gone for sixteen years!

So the Nebraskans returned home to find a leader they could see, and life improved. But every two years, the Invisible Congressman makes his presence known. On very quiet nights, if you listen very closely… you can hear his attack ads in the air.
