I couldn’t get that out of my head last night, folks. With just eight days before Election Day, Cory Gardner cast a key vote for Trump’s dangerous right-wing Supreme Court nominee.
I shouldn’t be surprised. Time and again, Gardner has aided and abetted the Republicans’ extremist agenda. Gutting our health care. Blocking access to abortion. Rolling back environmental protections.
Cory Gardner has built a career on choosing Washington insiders like Trump over the people he was elected to serve. Who knows what Trump will do to make sure this seat stays in Republican hands. Already, right-wing groups are dumping nearly $37 million to attack me and defeat this campaign.
That’s why it is so important we reach our fundraising goals even during this difficult time. Because the GOP is not slowing down — they’re speeding up. And we cannot for a second let our guard down and allow them to overtake us.
