This is the strategy of the old guard losing their grip. McConnell rushed this process because ultimately he believes they are going to lose on November 3. This is his last-ditch effort to install minority-rule.

Frankly -- that's the only thing we agree on. We also believe that anti-choice extremists are going to lose.
Prochoice voters are rising up in historic numbers to protect reproductive freedom, healthcare, and to fight back against government intrusion.
When we elect prochoice leaders at the local and state level, we can block bans from passing and champion legislation like the Equal Rights Amendment.
