Hi John, As a parent, you know that kids can ask really tough questions about faith and the Bible. Have you heard some of these?
How would you answer those? If you’re feeling stumped, don’t worry. As your kids grow in faith and explore the Bible, they are seeking truth. The good news is that they see YOU as the go-to person to point them in the right direction. We want to help you prepare for important, life-changing conversations, so we want to share “How Would I Answer That?”, a guide to five of the toughest questions about faith and the Bible. This helpful resource comes from the book The 21 Toughest Questions Your Kids Will Ask About Christianity by Alex McFarland, who spent two decades identifying these tough questions by speaking with children, teens, and parents. Alex discovered today’s kids and teens strongly desire authenticity and integrity. So just be you when answering those tough questions. Show how you turn to Scripture for encouragement and truth. The Bible is such a treasure! We hope that your family has continued reading God’s Word in the weeks after the Bring Your Bible to School Day event. We continue to pray for you all as you go through the school year. Blessings! Danny Huerta |
