John,
Today marks two years since a white nationalist murdered 11 people and injured six more at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This hateful shooter used an arsenal of weapons — a Colt AR-15 assault rifle and several handguns — to murder innocent people in cold blood.
A synagogue is not only a place of worship, but also a home of learning, growing, and family. All Americans should feel safe in their place of worship, no matter their denomination. Yet, since 2011, our country has seen 17 white-supremacist-led mass shootings at churches, synagogues, and in our communities.
Let’s be clear: Hate and bigotry should not be armed. But our lawmakers have failed to pass laws to prevent these tragedies. John, will you condemn white supremacy and demand that Congress take action to stop hateful gun violence?

Our nation’s weak gun laws allow hate to become deadly. Loopholes are allowing violent extremists to evade background checks and easily purchase firearms. And all too often, weapons made for war, like the AR-15, are the weapon of choice by perpetrators of mass shootings.
John, we know that there are common-sense solutions to this deadly bigotry, yet Mitch McConnell has stonewalled every piece of legislation — including an assault weapons ban — that could prevent massacres like the one at Tree of Life synagogue. And Donald Trump both refuses to condemn white supremacy, while also perpetually inciting violence by heavily armed, far-right, extremist groups.
We will not stand for it. In honor of those murdered at the Tree of Life synagogue two years ago, and the countless others killed and injured because of hatred, we are asking you to take a stand with Brady.

John, will you condemn white supremacy and demand Congress take action to stop hate-based gun violence? [[link removed]?]

About Our #VotingAccessSavesLives campaign

A partnership with March For Our Lives and Team ENOUGH, our #VotingAccessSavesLives is mobilizing Americans to join the fight for voting access. We believe that in order to prevent gun violence, we need to vote out NRA-bought politicians and elect gun safety champions. But we can't do that if we do not each have access to ballot box! We must each join the fight for a safer America. Learn more and join us at bradyunited.org/democracy [[link removed]] .
