Thank you to everyone who has written to our team or donated to support our efforts after last night's debate. I'm so happy to know you were watching and cheering us on.

 

Today, I wanted to check in about some numbers. Based on our research, we expect Zeldin to spend $1.5 million more before Election Day -- and that doesn't include investments from his Super PAC allies -- the CLF, NRCC, and AAN -- running attack ads against me.

 

The fact is that over the past week, as we quickly approach Election Day, our budget has been tight, and we are in serious danger of being outspent. Republican billionaire donors think they can buy this Suffolk County race, but we can't let that happen. To win, we need to boost our airtime over the next 7 days and counter Republicans’ false attacks, but we can only do that if we get an influx of cash.

 

We know voters want a leader in Washington who believes in science and will advocate for better health care -- it's that message that has put us within striking distance. Right now, we're 1 point down, and I know if we can remain competitive on the airwaves for just a few more days, we will have what it takes to win.

 

My team and I need you with us though. Everything we have done until this point has been possible because of you.

 

You have made it possible for us to run a people-powered campaign, where every strategy decision has been made with the most accurate data available to us. Our data show that we need to invest $115,000 more in this race, and we're currently $48,300 short.
