John,

I am Rep. Yvonne Lewis Holley, and I am honored to be your Conservation PAC-endorsed candidate for Lt. Governor. The North Carolina League of Conservation Voters has allowed me to come to you to express what is at stake in this election.

From my own life lessons and from listening to people from all across the state, I understand some of the difficulties that North Carolinians face every day. I’m running for Lt. Governor to champion my Affordable Living Initiative (ALI) program. This is my plan to address affordable and attainable housing, healthy food, workforce development, transportation, and public education.

With just one week left until Election Day, I am relying on grassroots green donors like you to push me past the finish line. Click here to chip in through LCV’s GiveGreen page » [link removed]

With the possibility of flipping at least four NC Senate seats next Tuesday, the Lt. Governor will serve as the tie-breaking vote in the state Senate. I could cast the deciding vote to expand Medicaid, increase funding for public schools, and ensure our state provides the resources our workers, small businesses, and families need to recover from this crisis.

Unlike my opponent, I will also work to tackle the climate crisis through the Lt. Governor’s seat on the Energy Policy Council and by working with Gov. Cooper and NCLCV’s legislative Green Caucus to pass the Clean Energy Plan.

With so much at stake, we cannot afford to elect someone who doesn’t share our values and vision for North Carolina. I am facing an opponent who denies racism, climate change, and police brutality even exist. He has been questioned about his Facebook posts and has stood firm in his remarks with disregard to folks he has offended.

We cannot allow for someone like my opponent to be the tie-breaking vote.

Because of your grassroots support, we have been able to run a successful campaign that reaches all across the state. We cannot stop now. Help me keep up the fight as we push to take back the Senate in 2020. Please chip in $25, $50, $100, or whatever you can today » [link removed]

This campaign is a chance to make sure that North Carolina is represented by a Lt. Governor who is passionate, experienced, and ready to fight for everyone in our state.

Thank you for your support,
Rep. Yvonne Lewis Holley
