A few moments ago, a tragedy happened in America. The United States Senate broke years of precedent to jam through a successor for Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Amy Coney Barrett is the exact opposite of RBG. She is a harsh ideologue who opposes even the most basic level of women's rights. Even her colleagues at the University of Notre Dame oppose her appointment to the Supreme Court. 

This didn't have to happen. If only a handful of Republican Senators dared to stand up to Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell, they could have agreed held this nomination until the next administration.
