John,

I'm feeling inspired by so many young people taking action to protect our planet.

Over the last year, youth around the world have led student strikes demanding accountability from our elected officials on climate change. Now, they’re calling on people of all ages to join them on September 20.

Join the coalition of youth groups and student activists, and thousands of people from across the country, demanding that our elected leaders take meaningful action on climate change.

Every new pipeline, refinery and plastics plant built locks us into decades more dependence on dirty energy that leads to more air pollution, more greenhouse gases and more plastic waste. These dangerous projects are pushing us closer and closer to irreversible climate chaos.

Together, we have to demand that our public leaders prioritize the protection of our planet and implement solutions to climate change that are equitable and rooted in racial and economic justice. That’s why we’re joining thousands of people and organizations across the country on September 20 — to show our elected officials we need them to fight for our environment today.

Because of Food & Water Action supporters like you, we have already won fracking bans in Washington, New York, and Maryland and we have stopped or delayed dozens of fossil fuel infrastructure projects in communities across the country. We are fighting Big Oil & Gas by keeping fossil fuels in the ground!

Let’s take our voices to the streets on September 20 and show those in power that we refuse to stand by as we face a climate crisis. It’s time to fight like you live here. Join us and thousands of others demanding action on climate change. This is a fight we must win because this planet is the only one we get.
