Friend, today is a disgrace to our democracy.

With just 8 days until election day -- and tens of millions of early votes already cast -- Republicans have confirmed a right-wing Supreme Court nominee to fill the vacancy left by Ruth Bader Ginsburg. And my opponent John Katko has openly supported this.

A 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court means that we could see the Affordable Care Act reversed, Roe v. Wade overturned, voting rights protections further gutted, and more decisions that protect corporate special interests from any accountability.

The court's coming decisions will likely set our country back, and we will need a Congress that will work to protect people's rights.

The best way to fight back in these next 8 days is by electing trusted advocates for the people -- and defeating the Republicans who backed the far right's scheme to stack the court and disregard the will of voters.
