Friend -- I am beyond frustrated.

The Republican majority just pushed through the appointment of Amy Coney Barrett
to the Supreme Court. This process was not good for our overall system, it's not
good for the issues that we face moving forward, and it is certainly not good
for women in the United States of America.

Senate Republicans are using this rushed process to distract from their true
goal -- overturning 50 years of progress. This is the exact opposite of honoring
Justice Ginsburg's legacy.

To add insult to injury to this whole process is the fact that they're refusing
to let the Senate do our job. Our economy is facing major challenges as a result
of the COVID-19 pandemic. One in five small businesses face going out of
business by 2021 -- we should have sat down and taken action to help our economy
in the midst of this pandemic. But true to form, Senate Republicans think it's
way more important to go after a woman's right to choose. I am tired of it.

So if you're frustrated like me, channel that frustration into action. Join me
in helping get power back in the hands of people looking out for us, not looking
back in time.

Send a clear sign that we do NOT approve of how this nomination was handled.
