Moments ago, Senate Republicans confirmed a right-wing Supreme Court Justice eight days before Election Day.

I’m appalled — but I’m not shocked.

The Republican Party, with Donald Trump leading the way, has proven that they care more about power than helping the American people.

They’ve turned their backs on us during this pandemic. They’ve fought to take our health care away. And they’ve given tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy while everyday Americans work two jobs just to keep the lights on.

And now, the Supreme Court has shifted to the right for potentially generations to come. This is an uncertain time for many, made even more uncertain with the future of our health care (during a pandemic) , reproductive rights, and equal protection under the law hanging in the balance.

One thing I can assure you right here, right now is that I will never stop fighting for you, your rights, or our progressive values — no matter what. Now, I’m asking you to step up and help me take a stand today:
