Hey folks!

If it's Monday, it's time for

Join me this evening! [[link removed]] It's a quick easy one, 5:30-7. It's all GOTV at this point, so you're talking to Dems, and people have been nice and supportive.

If that time doesn't work for you, there are options at every hour of the day! So sign up, log on, make some calls, and get those votes in. Morning. Afternoon. Evening. Eight more days, my friends. Imagine the party we'll have if we pull this off. Recruit your friends, neighbors, and family members to call. Who wouldn't want to be a part of this historic victory?

The Democratic party is really stressing the need for everyone to hop on phone banks and make that one-on-one connection. If you can, please try! If not, I understand; texting might be the answer for you. I'll be doing a quick texting tutorial on Zoom from 5 to 5:30 today [[link removed]], right before Manny's, if you'd like help learning to text with Resistance Labs [[link removed]]. It's easy and effective; Paul H. tried it and is LOVING IT. I also highly recommend. Reaching voters for introverts. Thumbs up. Let's get you going.

Charlie S. hooked us up with some great links for "curing" ballots in Florida [[link removed]], Georgia [[link removed]], and North Carolina [[link removed]]. (I signed up for a shift in Iowa, and the shifts are already gone. Good sign.) I'll be adding several of those shifts to my calendar over the next few weeks; it's hugely important work. For more about ballot curing, read this NPR article. [[link removed]] Then sign up for a shift or two to make sure every vote is counted!

I'm only moderately paranoid about my ballot here in CA, much less so after getting this great tip from Kathleen M. The California Secretary of State is now offering Where's My Ballot?—a new way for voters to track and receive notifications on the status of their vote-by-mail. One less thing to stress about. Check it out and pass it on.

Lastly, if you'd like to make a donation to keep us afloat here, we'd really appreciate it. I'm writing this email from Wild Apricot, where I also manage the calendar, send meeting invitations, and keep track of registrations. That data base software alone costs us $108 every month. Zoom, Website, domain; it can really add up. If you can help, my Venmo is @Shannon-Craine, Zelle is [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]], and PayPal is [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]]. Thanks so much for pitching in!

Almost there, everyone! Keep paddling!

Best regards,
Stand Up San Francisco
