John, I’m about to ask you to chip in $5 to Hala’s historic campaign, but first let me tell you why she is the best choice for Virginia’s next Lt. Governor.

First, Hala has spent her career fighting for Virginian families. Whether it was squashing predatory payday lending, expanding gun safety laws, or helping to ratify the ERA, Hala has been at the forefront of the fight for progress.

Second, Hala would be Virginia’s first Afro-Latina Lt. Governor -- and that’s a big deal for every Virginian who has felt unseen and unheard in our government.

Third, Hala understands where we’ve come from and embodies the diversity of our future. She knows where to take our commonwealth and will bring all the stakeholders to the table when leading.

I could go on about why Hala is the best choice for Virginia and our future, but I want to get to the point.

We’ve only raised less than half of what we need to meet our monthly goal to keep our campaign going strong after Election Day.
