I am about to ask you to add a grassroots donation to Tina Smith’s re-election campaign as part of an emergency fundraising drive we’re organizing this week. But first, let me explain why this is so important:
Donald Trump’s campaign manager announced that they’re reversing their decision to pull out of Minnesota — and instead, they’re about to make a last-minute “major ad buy” in the final week of this election.
Even worse, Mike Pence is back in Minnesota today to rile up Trump’s base — just days after a new poll showed our Senate race locked in a statistical tie.
This is the beginning of a new effort to tear down our campaign. There’s no doubt Trump will launch another personal attack on Tina as this race gets even closer and those attacks will be amplified by the GOP’s dark money groups who have already spent nearly $1 million to defeat us.
