I couldn’t let this day pass without wishing you a Happy Anniversary!

This date - September 13 - held such promise, excitement and hope. Emblazoned on every t-shirt you wore, literature you carried, postcard you mailed or call script you shared… Just thinking about this day one year ago fills me with so much pride for what we have accomplished together, united in the goal of making New York a true blue state.

This past year flew by in a flurry of unprecedented legislative wins and goals achieved. Our priorities as Anti-IDC challengers helped us win the majority and have shaped the current political landscape of our state.

We still have a lot of work to do, I hope you will continue to engage, show-up and demand your voice be heard. I promise to do the same!

PS. The grassroots have always had my back. I won my race without the support of corporations, lobbyists or the establishment. I’ll need your help again for my re-election campaign in 2020 (which is fast-approaching!). Thank you for everything you’ve done.
