Where do your donations go? In the spirit of transparency, we want to share
what we've been using our funds for and what we need to finish this race and
WIN!

But first, I'd like to ask you to dig deep in support of this movement to
finally oust Rep. LaMalfa. Can you help us keep this campaign going in the
final 8 days of the campaign by donating $20 today?

The most expensive part of running a competitive campaign is paid media. The
television ads you are seeing, the mail you receive in your homes and the
micro-targeted digital ads make up our biggest expense.

Our total general election budget was just under 2 million dollars.  That is
the identified cost of running a professional, hard-working, data and
message-based campaign. Of those funds here is the breakdown of where it was
allotted.

* 10% for payroll for our 23 staff positions
* 70% for our television ads, mail, and digital outreach program. We have
* 5 TV ads running across the district, vastly outspending the Congressman in
many areas.
* 15% for our field program
* We anticipate that we will have made 1 million calls and texts by the time
we get to election day.  This has been facilitated by over 200 interns, 1,000
volunteers and our field staff team across the district.
* 5% for general overhead (things like rent/utilities, payroll taxes,
software, accountants and legal fees)
So what is left to raise?

An additional $200,000 between now and Election Day.

This is an achievable goal if we all dig deep and make some final
contributions to this campaign proudly funded by grassroots donors. If you
haven't given yet, now is the most crucial time. Can we count on you to chip in
$20?
