Millions of Americans are casting their ballots and we're here to help you prepare to vote, too. Here are four things you should know about voting:
#1 If you're not registered to vote, you may be able to register before you vote in person. Many states allow same day voter registration during early voting, on Election Day, or both. Check your state's rules here:

#2 Mail-in or absentee ballots can be returned by mail or, in most states, at an approved drop-off location. Find out how to return your ballot:

#3 Voters are required to show a form of identification to cast a ballot on Election Day in most states. Check your state's ID requirements here:
