Having our first ad go dark now would be devastating in our efforts to flip Florida blue and protect our House majority: With the RNC personally attacking me, and special-interest groups pouring millions of dollars into our state, we urgently need to fight back.

Millions of Floridians are already voting – and with less than 20 days before Election Day, voter outreach is mission critical. In swing states like Florida, races come down to the margins (meaning just hundreds or thousands of votes), which is why keeping our ad live is absolutely essential. 

If we miss this goal and are forced to take down our ad, we could hand Florida and our House majority to the Trump campaign on a silver platter. That means four more years of fraud and corruption from the president, and continued attacks on everything we care about, from affordable health care to voting rights to gun safety.
