Running a campaign isn't easy. Interviews, meet and greets, and way too much time away from family can sometimes make you wonder if it's all worth it.

When I feel that way, I think of my kids. I think of my daughter, who deserves the right to make her own decisions about her body when she gets older. I think of my son, who has asthma, a pre-existing condition.

I think of how my representative, Devin Nunes, refuses to protect them. And that makes me furious. We deserve much better than we're getting.
