Donald Trump and his allies in Congress put the entire nation at great risk so that corporations could profit from the pandemic, and they know that they have failed us. Now, the GOP is worried about losing the election, so they're trying to solidify their hold on the courts–that’s why they are rushing to confirm extremist Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett.
We only have a few hours left to stop them. A vote is scheduled TONIGHT at 7 p.m. Eastern!
Call your Senators NOW and tell them to vote NO on the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett.
People have been voting early in record numbers. Almost 60 million people have voted already, and of course the Senate is trying to rush through the confirmation of Amy Coney Barrett–instead of passing COVID-19 relief–because they’ll need her help to maintain their power.
What we’re doing is working! Our pressure is emboldening our Senate allies to act. Democratic Senators boycotted the committee vote for Barrett on Thursday, making a huge statement about this illegitimate process. But TODAY, Monday 10/26, the entire Senate is expected to hold a vote to confirm her. We need to call on our Senators, in whichever party, vote NO.
Our democracy is at stake, and this confirmation could have big implications for millions of people. Our fundamental civil and human rights, access to health care for tens of millions of people, and many other things are at risk.
There’s very little time left. Call your Senator now and tell them to vote NO in the Supreme Court confirmation.
