The final vote to confirm Amy Coney Barrett will likely be held TODAY, Monday, October 26. We have an action item to support this confirmation, and an action item to do after she is confirmed, as well as election-related action items.

Supreme Court Action Before the Vote: Call Your Senators to Push for Confirmation Today is the day, so make your calls as early as you can. When you call, simply say that you want to see Amy Coney Barrett confirmed today. Call whether you have Republican or Democrat Senators. To call your Senators, no matter the party, simply dial (202) 224-3121 and ask for your Senator by name and you will be connected. If you need to look up the names of your Senators, use the map on this page. Just click on your state and it will show you your Senators. After the Vote: Call Senators to Say Thank You Starting on Tuesday, if your Senator(s) voted to confirm Amy Coney Barrett, call to say thank you – especially if your Senator is up for re-election this year. They are human too, and they often only get calls telling them to vote one way or another, and less frequently get calls thanking them.
How will you know if your Senator(s) voted for Amy Coney Barrett’s confirmation? Two ways. First, it’s very likely that no Democrats will vote for her confirmation. The second way to know is to search “Senate roll call votes Amy Coney Barrett” online, and you’ll find websites with the list of yea’s and nay’s.
Get Out the Vote Action There are three ways you can help re-elect President Trump, and we only have a week left, so we need as many volunteers as we can get!
Text Messaging
1. To get started go to: tpp.us/txt – fill out the very short form and press the “Start Texting” button! We recommend using your phone to sign up as you will be using your phone to do the text messaging.
2. You will get a text message after you’ve signed up. Click the link on your cell phone and you’ll be moved through the process. Once you send a text to the voter, go back to your browser (on your cell phone) to send the next text.
If you need additional instructions you can look through this guide. But it is very easy to sign up and start texting voters now. You can text voters every day until 8:30pm ET.
Phone Banking & Sending Letters to Voters If you are interested in calling voters or printing out and mailing letters to voters (the letter is pre-written, so you don’t need to write one!), we are near the deadline of getting those out. Please fill out this form and we will get you plugged in!
NOTE: All letters need to be sent by tomorrow, October 27th, so if you you would like to send some, please get a letter packet from us and get them sent out by then.
VOTE!!! Make sure you vote! If you can vote in person, vote in person! If you need to vote by absentee ballot, get your ballot turned in on time! If you can vote early, vote early!
While we wish voting was limited to one day as it used to be, the fact that early voting exists makes fraud easier. It opens the door to someone else voting early in your place, so if you can, vote early to make sure it is YOU who is doing the voting in your name.
Be sure to get your Trump-supporting friends and family to vote too. Text them, call them, email them, and remind them to go vote or turn in their ballots. Offer them a ride to the polls – do what you can to help them vote!
Make Real Civics Education a Priority Again Keep an eye out every week for a new activity or book or lesson to bring real civics back to our children.
This week, we are asking that you talk to your kids or grandkids about voting. If you can, take them with you to vote, or show them your absentee ballot if you are voting that way.
Discuss with them the importance of voting and what it means to be able to vote. Talk to them about integrity and honesty, and why we need to protect the integrity of our elections. Discuss the fact that there are people who want to cheat in order to win and gain power, and so why we must guard against that.
Finally, use the election and voting as a jumping off point to again discuss the exceptionalism of the American experiment and the wisdom of our Founders. Specifically, teach them about the “tyranny of the majority,” and why our Founding Fathers deliberately tried to prevent this from happening in America. And, why we are a republic and not a democracy.
Because of the miseducation and indoctrination by progressives, too many Americans believe we are democracy, and during elections, this myth is pushed even harder. We must teach our children and grandchildren the truth, and this is the perfect time to do it.
Use this article/report from The Heritage Foundation, “Preventing ‘The Tyranny of the Majority’” to help you in your discussion with your kids and grandkids. Depend on their ages, you might need to read it and distill the ideas into something simpler, or if they’re older, you can both read it and then discuss.
Thank you!
