Dear John,
One of our most important duties as citizens is to participate in our democracy and vote. As I always say, if you aren’t at the table, you’re on the menu. It’s time for North Texans to go to the polls, mail their ballots, and make their voices heard in this election.
I’m writing to let you know that this week is the last week of early voting! Early voting will continue until Friday, October 30. After that, voters can cast their ballots on Election Day which is Tuesday, November 3.

I just want to leave you with the words of my friend, hero, and colleague Rep. John Lewis, who said that “the right to vote is precious, almost sacred.” I hope we all honor the legacies of the many Americans who fought for everyone to have the right to vote, and vote in this election.
