Friend,

I sued Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family to deliver justice for the families who have lost loved ones to the opioid crisis. But last week, Trump’s Justice Department let them walk away with the equivalent to a slap on the wrist.

Read and share my op-ed in the Washington Post about our fight for justice. >>> [link removed]

No one is going to prison and the Sacklers get to hang onto their fortune – a fortune they amassed while recklessly pumping OxyContin into our communities.

This isn’t justice.

But this isn’t the end. Our office is still in court with the Sacklers and Purdue. We will make the Sacklers pay. We will shut down Purdue Pharma. We will deliver justice for the survivors, families and advocates who have been fighting for so long.

I started this fight and I will finish it.

Thanks for all you do,
Maura
