Hello,
NY Times: "Senator Mitch McConnell, Republican of Kentucky and the majority leader, told Republican senators privately on Tuesday that he has advised the White House not to strike a deal with Speaker Nancy Pelosi on a new stimulus bill before Election Day."
McConnell is set to confirm Trump's SCOTUS nominee, Amy Coney Barrett, today -- but has refused to pass pandemic relief for working families who've been waiting months for federal support. He and the GOP have made their priorities clear -- the strength of their party is more important than American lives.
With a track record like that, you might think McConnell has an overwhelming national disapproval rating -- but you'd be surprised. Americans are actually divided on the liar from Louisville: 39% of people may strongly disapprove of him, but a solid 33% approve, according to a UT Austin poll.
That's why we're reaching out to you today. With just over a week to go until Election Day, it's imperative that we know where voters stand. Tell us how you feel:
Do you approve of Mitch McConnell?
