We know Pennsylvania Republicans are trying their very best to suppress voters in the state. Their latest attempt to challenge ballots based on “signature comparisons” was just denied by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
While this is a win, it’s terrifying to think what could happen if this—and other election-related decisions—are appealed to a US Supreme Court that includes Amy Coney Barrett.
I say this not to cause despair but as a call to action. Experts seem to agree that the only election scenario that doesn’t result in a contested result/constitutional crisis this November is a landslide victory for Biden.
Simply put, we need to knock it out of the park this last week. That entails driving up the score for Biden in already-blue districts like mine, as well as helping to flip red districts (like my friend Paul Friel’s race here in Chester County). We can’t leave anything on the table this year.
