This fundraising deadline is unlike any other we have faced before. It will be the final test for our campaign — and it will determine whether or not the organization we have been building for the past year is strong enough to overcome the forces arrayed against us. Now that we’re just a few days out from Election Day, every action you take will affect whether we flip the Senate or leave Washington in the hands of people like Mitch McConnell and my opponent, GOP Senator Thom Tillis.

Time and again, Tillis has proven he’s too weak to stand up for the people of North Carolina. Instead, he caves in to party bosses like McConnell. That’s why he’s one of the most vulnerable Republican Senators in the country, and the polls show our campaign ahead by a slim margin.

But Washington Republicans will drag Tillis across the finish line if they have to. McConnell and his rolodex of corporate megadonors have already spent nearly $80 million to save him and keep their grip on the majority — pouring more money into our toss-up Senate race than any other one in the country.

I’m refusing to accept a single donation from corporate PACs, so we don’t have the kind of special-interest backing our opponent does (and trust me, I don’t want it). We’re doing things differently, which is why I need your help.
