John --
Happy 9 days until Election Day. This is a public service announcement to inform you that 100% of the ballots submitted in the counties impacted by the East Troublesome Fire have been retrieved and will be counted.
If you are a resident who has been evacuated and have not voted yet, you have until tomorrow (Monday, October 26) to contact your county's clerk and recorder to have your ballot sent to your current address. If you have your ballot, you can drop it in any drop box in the state.
If you are a resident who has been evacuated and have not voted yet, you can contact your county clerk to get an emergency ballot electronically, or you can vote by going to any vote center. Please note that if you vote outside your county, you may only be able to vote on statewide candidates (President and U.S. Senate) and statewide ballot measures.
If you have any further questions for you or someone you know who is impacted, you can go to www.govotecolorado.gov or call your county's clerk and recorder. If you are impacted or know others who are, please share this info.
In Solidarity,
Morgan Carroll, Chair
