John,

As reported by Newsweek, a just released poll of likely voters in
Mississippi shows Democrat Mike Espy has gone from being more than 25
points behind his opponent, racist Republican incumbent Senator Cindy
Hyde-Smith, to just 1 point back.

That’s right, the U.S. Senate race in Mississippi is basically TIED!

With 9 days left and surging support from the New American Majority of
Black, brown, and white progressives, we have a real shot of electing a
powerful Black Democrat to replace a Senator who once said if she was
invited to a public hanging she’d be “on the front row."

[ [link removed] ]We can shock the nation and take down one more notch of the Republican
southern firewall if you rush a split donation between Mike Espy and DFA’s
campaign to Get Out The Vote statewide immediately.

We’re on the path to flip the Senate this election, the question now is
how big of a majority will Democrats have.

Barrack Obama to Stacey Abrams and even the Republican-led “Lincoln
Project” have all jumped into to support Mike, helping him to out raise
Hyde-Smith 20 to 1 since the death of RBG started a grassroots surge of
interest and support in this previously underestimated campaign.

Mike Espy isn’t new to DFA though.

In the 2018 Special Election, DFA members raised over $42,000 and helped
make more than 25,000 voter contact calls bringing the final result to
within 8 points on Election Day – closer than any other Democrat in 36
years.

[ [link removed] ]Now, Mike has closed the gap to only 1 point down making clear this is
a rematch we can win. Join Obama, Abrams, and DFA members nationwide and
take Espy over the top with a contribution to fund GOTV today >>

No one expected Republicans to be playing defense in Mississippi.

Let’s shock them again, by winning on Election Day and electing the first
Black Senator from Mississippi since reconstruction.

Thank you for everything you’re doing to defeat Trump, flip the Senate and
protect America’s vote nationwide. Every victory we win, is possible
because of you.
