John,
When this people-powered campaign shocked the world and powered Jamaal to a primary victory earlier this year, we were very clear that it was just the start of a bold, progressive movement.
That's why in addition to getting out the vote in our community, we're putting in the work to elect other leaders who will join the fight for progressive change in Washington. Since winning our primary, this movement has raised over $26,000 to help candidates like Kara Eastman and Mike Siegel.
But here's the situation: We're nine days out from Election Day, and we are falling behind on fundraising for ourselves at the worst time. If we're unable to pick up the pace, we risk having to scale back digital ad buys, organizing tools, and literature we're using to drive strong turnout across the district.
We don't want to wake up on November 4th wishing we had done more to get out the vote for Jamaal. If we can get back on track by the end of today, it was because people like you stepped up.
Thanks for being an important part of this movement,
Jesse Guy-Herman, Finance Director
Bowman for Congress
