We’ve all seen the videos and pictures of people waiting in line to vote early. These lines stretch for blocks and consist of 100’s of people spending 4+ hours just to fulfill their civic duty.

While it is encouraging that so many people are motivated to vote in South Carolina and across the country, there is no reason anyone should have to wait for HOURS just to cast their vote.

It’s why we’ve partnered with the Southern Progress Fund to bring bathrooms to South Carolina voters waiting in line for hours. But we need your help. Will you contribute to this fund to bring people waiting on line relief?

None of this is surprising though. For years Republicans have relied on suppressing the vote in Democratic areas to keep themselves in power. They know when more people vote, they get voted out of power.

Lindsey and Mitch both know this and are relying on voters seeing these long lines and giving up on voting.

They know if it came down which candidate would best represent South Carolina based on the issues, Jaime Harrison would win in a landslide. It’s why they have to cheat and game the system to try to win.

Let’s make sure that when people get in line to vote, they don’t have to worry about leaving to find a bathroom.
