I just spoke with my team and they let me know we're not on track to hit our $80,000 daily goal by midnight tonight. If we're going to flip this seat and take back the Senate, it's crucial we don't fall even a dollar short.

Listen, when I got in this race over a year ago (crazy to think it's been that long!), no one thought we could win it. Well, maybe my husband Steve and my dog Ringo did! But that's about it.

And now here we are -- thanks to the support of this grassroots team, we've turned this race into the closest in the whole country. It's a toss up through and through.

But the latest poll shows we're starting to fall behind, just as Iowans are beginning to cast their ballots. I have some idea why -- Mitch McConnell and his allies are pouring an additional $4.3 million into our race -- that's on top of the more than $75 million they're already spending in nasty, false attacks.

Folks, this isn't good. We're losing ground and if we don't fight back right away, we risk falling further behind. We need to raise $80,000 by midnight to keep our fundraising on track and counter these attacks.
