Greetings!

Over the past few weeks, we've visited every single county across the 8th District!

This is a long email, and I'm going to ask you to make a donation at the end of it, but first I wanted to share with you some highlights from our incredible events.

It was such an honor and pleasure to meet and talk with people in our community. Local voters, elected officials, and candidates all gathered to share their vision for a greater future.

After speaking with my fellow Minnesotans, it's even more clear how Pete Stauber's failed leadership is hurting the residents of our district.

In Cloquet, I chatted with Eric, a physician who has patients struggling to make ends meet after losing their jobs as a result of the pandemic. While trying to provide for their families, they've had to grapple with the skyrocketing costs of healthcare and life-saving drugs without insurance.

Yet Pete Stauber voted 5 times against lowering the cost of prescription drugs and has attacked protections for people with pre-existing conditions.

What's even worse is that while so many Americans are suffering from COVID-19, Pete Stauber continues to belittle the impacts and severity of this virus. He's disregarded the health and safety of the public by neglecting social distancing guidelines and mask recommendations.

I'm proud to say that our events were all held outdoors. We required masks and enforced social distancing. Unlike Pete Stauber, I take it seriously when scientists and doctors say that people's lives are at risk, and I would never compromise public safety to push a political narrative.

After speaking to a (social-distanced and masked!) crowd of folks in Duluth, I had a one-on-one conversation with an independent voter who is a former Marine. He was so disappointed in Pete Stauber for not denouncing Trump's statement about veterans being "suckers and losers" that he completely lost any respect he had left for Stauber.

MN-08 deserves better than a leader who misleads constituents, downplays a deadly pandemic, ignores advice from medical experts, and serves as a mouthpiece to a corrupt president.

The outpouring of support at our events has truly been overwhelming and has reinforced why I'm running — to restore the voice of the people and fight for everyday working families.

I'm so incredibly humbled by the dedication and enthusiasm of our grassroots supporters. Thank you to everyone who made this County Tour possible and who continues to stand with me as we build this movement.

This tour was so inspiring, and I'm more motivated than ever before to bring necessary change to our district.

At our events throughout the district, I met so many incredible individuals with stories that need to be told in Congress. And that's exactly what I intend to do.

There are only 9 more days left until the election, and I'm more fired up than ever to flip this seat from red to blue.
