John,

The rematch between Elaine and Republican Scott Taylor is as CLOSE as it gets:

Delmarva Now: "Virginia's second congressional district race between incumbent Rep. Elaine Luria (D) and former Rep. Scott Taylor (R) is turning out to be one of the most competitive in the country, and one of the most expensive in the state."

Recent Polling: Luria (D) 48% vs. Taylor (R) 48% [Source: Congressional Leadership Fund]

Total Spending on Pro-Taylor or Anti-Luria ads: $3,171,722 [Source: vpap.org]

Elaine is counting on individual supporters like you to help her fight back against the flood of outside spending coming in the final days of this battleground race. Will you chip in to make sure we have the resources we need to Get Out The Vote to defend VA-02?

President Trump is closely watching this race and has personally tweeted about his support for Scott Taylor multiple times to millions of followers. This comes as no surprise -- in Washington, Taylor voted in line with Trump 98% of the time.

If he succeeds in taking back this seat, he would be a rubber stamp to completely eliminate the ACA without a replacement plan, take away our reproductive rights, and weaken Social Security and Medicare which tens of thousands of folks in VA-02 rely on.

The stakes are higher than ever. We won't let Taylor take this seat back just so he can get back to carrying water for special interests at the expense of everyday Virginians -- chip in now to help keep Elaine fighting on our behalf in Congress >>

Truly, every dollar will make a difference in a race as close as this one.

We need you in this fight,

Veronica
