We spend a lot of time talking about Adrian and our fight to elect him to the Senate. You’re probably wondering, what’s so great about this Adrian guy anyway?

The grandson of a sharecropper from Bossier Parish, Adrian has deep Louisiana roots. Growing up with three brothers, a single mom, and grandparents, Adrian was raised on the love of family and faith.

After 9/11, Adrian heard the call to serve. He graduated from West Point, where he was the first Black Class President, and went on to Army Ranger training.

Adrian went on to serve three tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning the rank of Captain and a Bronze Star.

After serving, Adrian won a Pat Tillman scholarship to Harvard Law School, where he was elected student body president. When he graduated Harvard, he was offered high salaried jobs across the country, but he once again felt the call to serve.

He returned home to Louisiana and was elected mayor of Shreveport. Under his leadership, Shreveport balanced their budget, saw their lowest crime rates in 45 years, and brought in new jobs and economic opportunities.

Now, our state and country are in crisis and we need a leader who can meet this moment. Combining his experience and his drive to serve, Adrian will lead us down a better road.
