Dear John,

The fecklessness of corporate Democrats is offensive.

Between Senator Dianne Feinstein’s softball questions, and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi’s refusal to issue new Articles of Impeachment that would have delayed the Senate process, San Francisco’s voices in Washington are outrageously paving Trump’s path.

It does not have to be this way, but these two elected officials have valued corporate campaign contributions over representing our voices for decades.

It is time to make some space for long overdue—and increasingly urgent—change.

I am the first Democrat in a generation to face Nancy Pelosi in a general election.

We need change in Washington—and we can start by changing the voice that San Francisco sends to represent our city in Congress.

Thank you for continuing to stand with us.
