The latest polls from key battleground states show that the presidential election remains up for grabs.
In Florida, Trump is within the margin of error. In other key states like North Carolina, Arizona, Iowa, and Ohio, the margin remains close as well.
But the scariest part is that if Donald Trump can make this election close, voter suppression could put him over the top.
We’ve already seen Trump sabotage vote-by-mail by slowing down the postal service Republican governors are crippling early in-person voting with 11-hour lines at the polls.
But on Election Day, things could get much worse. Trump has openly called on white supremacist, armed right-wing groups like the Proud Boys to “observe” voting in Philadelphia and other heavily African-American areas.
We simply cannot count on the corporate media to defend our democracy. They have spent four years normalizing this president and are far too beholden to the same corporate interests behind Donald Trump himself.
